Progressive Visual & Spoken Warnings

The warning strategy is designed to provide information according to the level of risk:

• VRU detected without an immediate collision risk: the driver receives a visual warning without an unnecessary audible alert.
• VRU movement indicates increasing proximity or potential conflict with the vehicle: the system activates a spoken audible warning to draw the driver’s attention to the developing hazard.

This approach helps reduce unnecessary alarms and cognitive overload, while ensuring the driver receives a clear warning when intervention may be required.
